Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread
  • 3 ripe bananas bananas or 1 ½ cups mashed
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour or oat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp baking soda
Optional Flavorings
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • as desired mix-ins e.g., chopped walnuts, pecans, chocolate chips, raisins

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with foil or parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
  2. Add all the main ingredients (bananas, flour, eggs, maple syrup, baking soda) to a blender and blend until smooth. If using, stir in any optional flavorings or mix-ins.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. If you are adding mix-ins or toppings, you can stir them into the batter before pouring or sprinkle them on top.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Baking time can vary, so check your loaf around 25-30 minutes if it's your first time making this recipe.
  5. Let the banana bread cool completely in the pan before slicing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for a week.
