5-Ingredient Broccoli Cheddar Casserole

Ingredients
  

For the Casserole
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1-1/4 cups french-fried onions divided
  • 2 packages (16 ounces each) frozen broccoli florets, thawed

  • 2-qt. baking dish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine the undiluted cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, 1 cup of the cheddar cheese, and 1-1/4 cups of the french-fried onions. Heat this mixture over medium heat, stirring until it is well blended, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Stir the thawed broccoli florets into the soup mixture. Transfer the combined ingredients to the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and french-fried onions over the top of the casserole. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted, about 10-15 minutes more.
