For the Chicken
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 dash onion powder
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoons seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 half boneless skinless chicken breast 6 ounces

Method
 

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. In another bowl, combine cheese and buttermilk. Place bread crumbs in a third shallow bowl.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Flatten the chicken breast to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Coat the flattened chicken with the flour mixture. Dip it into the buttermilk, then coat evenly with the bread crumbs.
  4. Place the coated chicken on a lightly greased tray in the air fryer basket. Lightly spritz the chicken with cooking spray.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning the chicken once halfway through, until it is golden brown and cooked through (no longer pink inside).
