- Combine the milk and vinegar in a medium bowl. Set this mixture aside for 5 minutes to create sour milk.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Whisk the egg and melted butter into the soured milk mixture.
- Pour the dry flour mixture into the wet milk mixture. Whisk these together until all lumps are gone to form the batter.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Coat the skillet surface with cooking spray.
- Pour 1/4 cupfuls of batter onto the hot skillet. Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look dry.
- Flip the pancake with a spatula and cook until the second side is browned. Repeat this process with the rest of the batter.
