Chile-dusted Hard-boiled Eggs

Ingredients
  

For the Chile Dust
  • 1 part Chile powder Kashmiri chili powder recommended
  • 1 part MDH Chana Masala powder Adjust to your spice preference
For the Eggs
  • 4 Large eggs

Equipment

  • small bowl
  • Saucepan
  • Towel

Method
 

  1. Combine equal parts chile powder and MDH chana masala powder in a small bowl. Use your preferred chili powder.
  2. Hard boil the eggs according to your preferred method. Once cooked, immediately transfer them to an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
  3. Peel the cooled hard-boiled eggs.
  4. Rinse the peeled eggs and gently pat them dry with a clean towel to remove excess moisture.
  5. Roll each egg in the prepared spice mixture until it is completely covered.
  6. Slice the chile-dusted eggs and serve immediately, or pack them for lunch.

Notes

This recipe is a component of a larger lunch box idea. You can adjust the spice blend to your liking. For a milder flavor, use less chile powder. For a spicier kick, add more or use a hotter variety of chile.
