Method
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the white chocolate chips and vegetable shortening (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
- Dip each pretzel twist halfway into the melted white chocolate. Let excess chocolate drip off.
- Place the chocolate-covered pretzel on the prepared baking sheet.
- Immediately sprinkle the wet chocolate with red, blue, and white sprinkles. You can create patterns or mix them.
- Repeat with the remaining pretzels.
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
- Once set, serve the pretzel treats.

Store any leftover pretzel treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
