Ingredients

For the Cookie Crust
  • 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough 16.5 oz
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Fruit Topping
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 cups strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Electric mixer

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Press the sugar cookie dough evenly onto a baking sheet to form a large circle or rectangle, resembling a flag shape.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let the cookie crust cool completely on the baking sheet.
  3. While the crust cools, prepare the cream cheese frosting. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until well combined and fluffy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
  5. Decorate the fruit pizza to look like a flag. Arrange blueberries in the top left corner for the stars. Use sliced strawberries and raspberries to create stripes across the rest of the pizza.
  6. Chill the flag fruit pizza for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can use other fruits like kiwi or mandarin oranges for additional color.
