Fourth of July Berry Popsicles

Make these easy and bright berry popsicles for your Fourth of July celebration. They are a refreshing and simple dessert.

Ingredients
  

For the Popsicles
  • 2 cups strawberries hulled
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar or to taste
  • 1/4 cup water

Equipment

  • blender
  • Popsicle molds

Method
 

  1. Combine strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, sugar, and water in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth. Taste and add more sugar if desired.
  3. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds.
  4. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.
  5. To unmold, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds.

Notes

You can layer the berries for a striped effect by freezing each layer partially before adding the next. For a creamier popsicle, you can add a tablespoon of yogurt to the blender.
