- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- In a large glass bowl, create the first layer by spreading half of the pound cake cubes on the bottom.
- Top the pound cake with half of the sliced strawberries and half of the blueberries.
- Spread half of the cream mixture evenly over the berries.
- Repeat the layers: add the remaining pound cake cubes, followed by the remaining strawberries and blueberries.
- Finish with the remaining cream mixture, spreading it evenly to cover the top layer of berries.
- Cover the trifle and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
You can substitute other berries like raspberries or blackberries. For a sweeter cream layer, add more powdered sugar to taste.
