- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the instant rice according to the package directions.
- In a large cast-iron or other ovenproof skillet, cook the ground beef, green peppers, and onion over medium-high heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.
- Stir the cooked rice, marinara sauce, and seasoning blend into the skillet with the beef mixture. Mix well.
- Stir in the shredded Italian cheese blend until it is evenly distributed.
- In a small bowl, toss the seasoned bread crumbs with the olive oil until they are coated. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.

Notes
This recipe is a great base for variations. You can add other vegetables like corn or peas, or use different types of cheese. For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
