- Place all ingredients except the whipped cream into a high-powered blender.
- Blend until the coffee ice cubes are crushed completely.
- If the frappe does not blend well, let the mixture sit for a few minutes before trying to blend again.
- Pour the blended mixture into glasses.
- Top with whipped cream if you are using it.
Notes
If you do not have a high-powered blender, you can soften the coffee ice cubes slightly in the microwave. Use the defrost setting for about 45 seconds, but watch carefully to avoid melting the cubes too much, which results in a thin drink.
