Mozzarella Pepperoni Croissant Rolls

Flaky crescent roll dough is stuffed with gooey melted cheese and spicy pepperoni in this great recipe with only 4 ingredients.

Ingredients
  

For the Rolls
  • 8 ounces refrigerated crescent rolls 8 count package
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • 32 slices small pepperoni
  • 1.5 teaspoons Italian seasoning divided

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Unwrap the crescent roll canister and gently remove the dough. Roll out the dough onto a large cutting board or clean work surface, and gently separate the triangles.
  3. Divide 1 cup of mozzarella cheese between the 8 pieces of dough. Evenly sprinkle 1 teaspoon of the Italian seasoning over the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Place 3-4 pieces of pepperoni on each crescent.
  5. Roll each triangle, starting at the widest end, and place onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Serve with warmed pizza sauce or marinara for dipping, if desired.

These rolls are best served warm. You can adjust the amount of pepperoni and cheese to your preference.
