No-Bake Almond Butter Energy Bites

Ingredients
  

For the Energy Bites
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Kosher salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats toasted
  • 1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the almond butter, maple syrup, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Fold in the oats, then the chocolate chips.
  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes.
  3. Shape the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls. Each ball uses about one heaping tablespoon of the mixture.

Notes
