- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Toss gently to coat the peaches.
- Pour the peach mixture into the 9x13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Drop spoonfuls of the topping mixture over the peaches, covering most of the surface.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let the cobbler cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
