Simple Watermelon Sorbet

This recipe makes a refreshing watermelon sorbet with just a few ingredients. It's a perfect treat for a hot day.

Ingredients
  

For the Sorbet
  • 4 cups seedless watermelon cubed and frozen
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Combine the frozen watermelon, honey (or agave nectar), and lime juice in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides a few times.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container.
  4. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  5. Serve scoops of the sorbet.

Notes

For a softer sorbet, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving. You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or agave nectar.
