- In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before use to prevent burning.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken skewers for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- While the chicken is grilling, prepare the garlic yogurt sauce. In a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Serve the smoky chicken skewers hot, with the garlic yogurt sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
You can substitute chicken breasts for thighs, but be careful not to overcook them. Serve with a side of rice, salad, or grilled vegetables for a complete meal.
