Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup silver tequila
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
For the Rim
  • 1 as needed sugar for rim
  • 1 as needed cinnamon for rim
  • 1 as needed salt for rim
For Garnish
  • 1 as needed apple slices for garnish
  • 1 as needed cinnamon sticks for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a pitcher, combine apple cider, silver tequila, and lemon juice. Chill for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the glass rims. Pour a small amount of water onto a small plate. Dip the rim of each glass into the water, then into a mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Fill the prepared glasses with the chilled cider mixture. Garnish each drink with an apple slice and a cinnamon stick.

Notes

This recipe can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. For a non-alcoholic version, omit the tequila and increase the apple cider by 1/2 cup.
