Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew (Easy)

I first tried a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew in Miami on a hot day. The mix of rich coffee, sweet vanilla cream, and cold foam was wonderful. I started experimenting to make a simple, flavorful version at home. Now, I can make this drink quickly while enjoying the process of making my own café-style coffee.

Ingredients

For the Vanilla Syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 large vanilla bean (or 1 tbsp vanilla extract)
For the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup vanilla syrup
  • 4 cups homemade cold brew (or use store bought)
  • Ice for serving

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Blender or Mason Jar
  • Glass

Method

  1. Add water and maple syrup to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. When the maple syrup dissolves, turn off the heat, add the vanilla bean, and let it cool to room temperature.
  3. Remove the vanilla bean and store the syrup in a mason jar or glass container in the fridge for up to 3 months.
  4. Add almond milk and 1/4 cup of vanilla syrup to your blender and blend until it reaches a whipped consistency. Alternatively, add to a mason jar and shake vigorously or use a milk frother to froth into a cream foam.
  5. Add ice to a large glass and top with 1 cup of cold brew. Pour in your vanilla sweet cream to taste. Stir to combine.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of vanilla sweet cream you add to the cold brew based on how sweet you prefer your drink.
